Fall Festival

The Fall Festival was so much fun! A big thank you goes to Melissa Patchett Kondor (Frankie is in Miss Barbara's class). Melissa was the coordinator for the event and did a fantastic job. Thank you to the volunteers who helped that day and thank you to all who participated. It’s always fun to see our students play with their families.

Done in a Day Dads

Our first Done in a Day will be November 10th beginning at 9:00 am. Bring your garden gloves, and a shovel if you can! Please make sure you sign in and out so we can credit your hours. We thank you in advance! John Wehage is your team leader (Leigh is in Miss Linda's class and Landon is in Miss Neela's class).

School Photos

School photos will take place November 6-8. You will be told by your room rep which day is your child's day for photos. Mugsy Clicks does a great job and you will be able to choose from a variety of photos. All ordering and viewing is done on-line.

Thanksgiving Feasts

Our Thanksgiving Feasts (November 19th and 20th ) are different from any other party we have at school. Each side of school has a lunch-time feast where all the children sit together. If you are a parent that has signed up to help with the feast you will be receiving information regarding what you are responsible for bringing. As with any party at P&C, everyone is welcome to join in the festivities. On the day of your child’s Feast they do not need to bring a lunch.

We will not have Phonics class on that Tuesday due to typically low enrollment on this week.

A Big Thank You to Our Parents!

Thank you for taking the time to come to the class lunches. It is so nice to see all the friendships form and your children love to have you at their school. I also want to thank the parents that have brought the staff lunches during them.

Also, thank you Wehage Family for paying for our Staff Meeting lunch in October. We truly appreciate your kindness!

Shelter Animals

Miss Jennifer through the year helps a Burbank Animal Shelter by bringing them blankets, dog beds, towels, leashes, anything that helps the animals be more comfortable while they await adoption. If you have any items (used) that you would like to donate, please bring them and Miss Jennifer will take them to the shelter.
