Fall Festival

The Fall Festival was so much fun! A big thank you goes to Melissa Patchett Kondor (Frankie is in Miss Marianne's class). Melissa was the coordinator for the event and did a fantastic job. Thank you to the volunteers who helped that day and thank you to all who participated. It’s always fun to see our students play with their families.

Done in a Day Dads

Our first Done in a Day will be November 4th beginning at 9:00 am. Bring your garden gloves, pruners and a shovel if you can! Please make sure you sign in and out so we can credit your hours. We thank you in advance! Mark Kelly (Greta is in Miss Stephanie's class) is your team leader.

School Photos

School photos will take place November 7-9. You will be told by your room rep which day is your child's day for photos. Mugsy Clicks does a great job and you will be able to choose from a variety of photos. All is done on-line. We will let you know more later.

Thanksgiving Feasts

Our Thanksgiving Feasts (November 20th and 21st ) are different from any other party we have at school. Each side of school has a lunch-time feast where all the children sit together. If you are a parent that has signed up to help with the feast you will be receiving information regarding what you are responsible for bringing. As with any party at P&C, everyone is welcome to join in the festivities. On the day of your child’s Feast they do not need to bring a lunch.

We will not have P&C Artists or Phonics because of low enrollment that week.

Heads up!

Conferences

Every year Parents and Children’s closes classes for one day so we can meet with the parents and let you know about your child’s progress, abilities, friendships and a lot more! Please mark your calendar for that closure. Again, it is on the website calendar, but we also want to make sure you are aware way ahead of time. Conferences will be Friday, January 26th .

We still have openings for Hot Lunch sponsorships just in case anyone is interested??? It’s $50.

SHELTER ANIMALS

Miss Jennifer through the year helps a Burbank Animal Shelter by bringing them blankets, dog beds, towels, leashes, anything that helps the animals be more comfortable while they await adoption. If you have any items (used) that you would like to donate, please bring them and Miss Jennifer will take them to the shelter.
