Fall Festival

The Fall Festival was so much fun! A big thank you goes to Melissa McFarland, (Addie is in Miss Conny's class). Melissa was the coordinator for the event and did a fantastic job. Thank you to the volunteers who helped make the festival a success and thank you to all who participated. It’s always fun to see our students play with their families. Yum, pumpkin pancakes!

Done in a Day Dads

Our first Done in a Day will be November 9th beginning at 9:00 am. Bring your garden gloves, shovel and wheelbarrow if you can! Sand is being delivered Friday and your job is to distribute the sand in places needed. Please make sure you sign in and out so we can credit your hours. We thank you in advance! John Wehage is your team leader (Luke is in Miss Neela's class and Landon is in Miss Conny's class).

School Photos

School photos will take place November 12-14. You will be told by your room rep which day is your child's day for photos. Mugsy Clicks does a great job and you will be able to choose from a variety of photos. All ordering and viewing is done on-line once you receive a sample photo with your individual code to check in.

Thanksgiving Feasts

Our Thanksgiving Feasts (November 25th and 26th ) are different from any other party we have at school. Each side of school has a lunch-time feast where all the children sit together. If you are a parent that has signed up to help with the feast you will be receiving information regarding what you are responsible for bringing. As with any party at P&C, everyone is welcome to join in the festivities. On the day of your child’s Feast they do not need to bring a lunch.

There is no Art Class on Monday or Phonics class on Tuesday due to typically low enrollment on this week.

Shelter Animals

Miss Jennifer helps a Burbank Animal Shelter all through the year by bringing them blankets, dog beds, towels, leashes, anything that helps the animals be more comfortable while they await adoption. If you have any items (used) that you would like to donate, please bring them and Miss Jennifer will take them to the shelter.
